Creative Preschool Education, Extended Child Care, School-age Child Care

The philosophy of the Little Lighthouse Learning Center is that early childhood should be a time for fun and discovery, warmth, security, and exploration. All children are creative and receptive; the staff at Little Lighthouse will strive to nurture, and encourage these qualities in children that attend. Experiences are provided that meet children's needs and stimulate learning in all developmental areas. Each child is viewed as a unique person with an individual pattern and timing of growth. The curriculum and adults interaction is responsive to individual differences in ability and interests. Different levels of ability, development, and learning styles are expected, accepted and used to design appropriate activities toward learning. Little Lighthouse is nationally accredited with NAEYC, National Association for the Education of Yound Children. Our center is a 5 Star Rated program with Ohio's Step-Up to Quality, a Head Start Collaborative and a part of the Ohio Department of Education Early Childhood Learning Expansion Grant Program.
